A Journey Through the Brewing Process
At Death Ridge Brewery, each beer goes through a carefully choreographed process. We start with milling, lauter and brewers at the brewhouse. The result is a sweet liquid, called wort, which is moved to the boiling kettle. Here, the soon-to-be beer is boiled for sterilization and to separate the wort from the hops. Then comes the fermentation process, where yeast converts the sugar of the wort into alcohol and carbon dioxide, giving birth to beer.
