Head Brewer Luther Paul shares that planning for this event begins well in advance, as these unique beers require several months of meticulous barrel aging. The event kicks off with eager attendees lining up overnight to secure their favorite Black Friday™ signature brews. This annual gathering not only offers a chance to enjoy exceptional beer but also brings together a community of beer lovers who share stories and collections from previous years. Starting at 6 AM, guests are treated to the brewery’s famous Black Friday Burrito and freshly brewed coffee from Lakefront’s food truck. By 8 AM, Brewmaster Russ Klisch welcomes patrons as the doors open and the excitement really begins.

This year, Lakefront Brewery presents four limited-edition Black Friday™ brews that are sure to tantalize the taste buds of any craft beer connoisseur. Among the offerings are the rich 2025 Black Friday™ Imperial Stout, aged in whiskey barrels from Great Lakes Distillery, and the aromatic 2025 Black Friday™ Triple Black IPA, featuring a delightful array of hops like Cascade and Chinook.
Also in the lineup is the 2025 Black Friday™ Wheatwine Ale, which has been artfully aged in brandy barrels, and the indulgent 2025 Black Friday™ Imperial Coffee & Cacao Nib Stout, another masterpiece aged in whiskey barrels. Join the Warm Hearts Coat Drive Initiative
In the spirit of the season, Lakefront Brewery once again hosts the Warm Hearts Community Coat Drive, benefiting students at George Washington Carver Elementary. Guests who donate clean, gently used coats suitable for youth aged 3 to 14 will receive a retro Black Friday™ beer as a token of appreciation for their generosity.
